  • 16 May Public opening of Not a Still Life: exhibition of paintings by John Edward Jones at The Place, 11 Canonbury Place, London N1 16 May-13 July
  • 28 May Nicolette Jones on panel at the Barbican, London, to discuss Raymond Briggs's When the Wind Blows, after a screening of the film adaptation.

  • 07 June Samuel Plimsoll Service, St Martin's Church, Horn Street, Cheriton, Folkestone. This year's guest speaker Andy Taylor of the Fishing Museum. Organised by Folkestone Town Council. Annual commemorative event originated by Nicolette Jones.
